Academy Motorsport

Another well establish motor racing team making the large step across to British GT Championship, and the latest in Aston Martin racing Partner Teams, is Academy Motorsport who are making a two car GT4 entry.

The Ginetta championship winning team retains Matt Nichol-Jones at the helm and his vast array of knowledge will put their drivers, who are themselves professing up the motorsport ladder from Ginetta based series in good stead for what will be a very competitive GT4 battle.

The #61 car will be driven by Will Moore and Dennis Stranberg and the #62 by Chris Webster and James Harrison.

TF Sport

Tom terrier's team returns to the championship for their second year only narrowly missing out on the GT4 Championship at their first time of asking.

As a change to last year the team's GT4 vice champion Andrew Jarman moves up to an Aston Martin V12 Vantage GT3 with GT hotshot Jody Fannin whilst the team retains a second GT3 car (we believe leased from Paul Bailey) for their second new team line up  of Derek Johnston and Matt Bell.

The #17 Steel deck sponsored car of Jonston and Bell was the only Aston Martin missing from Media Day.

With a Pro/Am driver line up like this one we know already that Jarman has the determination and Fannin has the ability of putting and keeping this yellow and blue car at the front - another championship contender.

Stratton Motorsport

Being no strangers to the motorsport scene Long Stratton based and Aston Martin Heritage racing Stratton Motorsport also move up a level from GT4 Challenge and into the British GT itself with an all lady driver line up of Jade and Chloe Edwards.

Having finished the final round of the now defunct AMR GT4 Challenge on the top step at Donington last year, these ladies are by no means slow and as part of a larger British GT squad with their dad running both them and another two Lotus GT4 entries these two could just be about to make a few upsets.

Unfortunately, their much anticipated livery for their car wasn't ready in time for media Day so we will have to wait until Oulton Park this coming Bank Holiday weekend for that. Bring your sun glasses was apparently their advice!!
