"This is mine…….!"

On Saturday 30th January, 2015 British GT3 champion Andrew Howard received an MSA (Motorsport Association) trophy in recognition of his and team mate Jonny Adam’s achievements across the 2015 race season.

The Night of Champions is the MSA’s annual prize giving ceremony, where the latest MSA British Championship title winners are crowned. This prestigious event is held at the classy Royal Automobile Club in London each January. The awards ceremony was attended by all 2015 MSA British Champions as well as British Motorsport legends such as F1 and Moto cycle world champion John Surtees. Surtees was one of many British Motorsport greats to present trophies and prizes at the Night of Champions.

Aston Martin Racing Factory Driver Jonny Adam was unable to receive his trophy from the event, due to race commitments in the USA. Adam was competing in the Rolex 24 hour race in Daytona for the Action Express Race team, as part of a prize for winning the Sunoco Whelen Challenge. After a race that included several mechanical failures, the #31 Corvette Chevrolet finished a respectable 6th place after 24 hours of racing.

Andrew Howard:

It is an amazing evening as it combines all the champions of the MSA Championships - a special night to remember a very special year.

Jonny Adam:

Racing in the Rolex 24 hour race in Daytona for the Action Express Racing team was a truly unforgettable experience. We were very competitive pace wise throughout the race but unfortunately suffered a mechanical failure that lost us just under 30 minutes. I would like to thank Sunoco for this amazing opportunity with Action Express Racing, and hope to be back soon!
