Beechdean AMR to feature on Blue Peter

Highly successful GT racing team Beechdean Aston Martin Racing (AMR) will feature in the next Blue Peter episode. This will air on Thursday the 1st of September (tomorrow) at 5pm on CBBC.

Blue Peter presenters Barney and Radzi went to Rockingham Motor Speedway in Corby to meet Jamie Chadwick. The star of the show however was the championship winning Beechdean Aston Martin Vantage V8 GT4 #407, emblazoned with its own Blue Peter logo.

Beechdean AMR team boss Andrew Howard said “Blue Peter remains an exemplar of children's television and I have always been a Blue Peter fan. It was a pleasure to see our championship winning car sporting it's very own piece of history."

BRDC Rising Star Jamie Chadwick commented “Being invited to be on Blue Peter with my Beechdean AMR race car was brilliant – it’s a national institution – so getting a Blue Peter badge was a childhood dream! Barney and Radzi were great fun and pretty good drivers too – I loved working with them.”

The #407 Beechdean Aston Martin Vantage V8 GT4 will be back in action in a fortnight at Donington Park, for the finale of British GT. Jamie Chadwick will also be competing in the finale with Paul Hollywood, for their fourth and final race of the season.
