TF Sport looking to improve their GT Open Championship position at Monza

Thursday, September 29, 2016

TF Sport regroup this weekend (1-2 October, 2016) for Round 6 of the International GT Open at Monza, Italy.

Hot on the heels of a fine third position in the Michelin GT3 Le Mans Cup at Spa Francorchamps last Sunday, Salih Yoluc and Euan Hankey will be back in action at the wheel of the #34 Aston Martin V12 Vantage GT3, with a clear objective of bringing the car home in solid points-paying positions in both races.

TF Sport’s recent run in the series saw the team take a win at Silverstone, before recording a pair of sixth positions last time out in Austria. The British-based outfit are currently sixth in the standings and aiming high in Italy.

“Monza is one of the fastest circuit we compete on and also a fabulous historic venue,” stated TF Sport Director Tom Ferrier. “It’s also very hard in brakes so we’ll use the two-hours of Friday practice wisely to make sure we get that ticked off the list.

“It’s a great championship and we’re proud to be a part of it and our recent run of results has been pretty decent. This weekend we want a couple of top five results… Naturally, the higher the better!”
Saturday’s race gets underway at 16.30 CET with Sunday’s edition at 14.15.
