Wednesday, September 21, 2016
Sussex based GT Cup team Hud Motorsport have today announced part of their 2017 race plans by revealing the replacement to their current Audi R8 LMS GT3.
Keeping the specifics of their plans a closely guarded secret, the team have confirmed the acquisition of a Aston Martin V12 Vantage GT3 that has/or will be updated to the current 2016 specification and will bear a livery similar to the digital image shown above.
Team owner Nigel Hudson and Pro driver/coach Adam Wilcox (no stranger to a Vantage GT3) will again be the driver line up for new season although the team has yet to confirm (despite the decals shown above), which series they will run in.
It is also understood that the team's new car will be continued to be prepared and maintained by JMH Automotive, a team with vast experience in the GT3 field having prepared Ferrari's, Porsches and Nissan's for various customer programmes.
The team shall see out their 2016 season at the finale of the GT Cup series at Snetterton early next month where they still have a battle in which to consolidate their present third position in the GTO Championship.
Welcome to #TeamAMR guys.
