The taste of Beechdean goes Oriental

It transpires that the Aston Martin Racing / Beechdean AMR private event at Snetterton the other week attracted visitors from much further afield than first imagined. Also, it now appears that not simply being a corporate day for the sponsors and guests of Beechdean AMR the event was also used by AMR factory to showcase their wares to other interested parties - in this case long time AMR customer Hiroyuki Akane from Alpha Classics Racing in Japan.


Using the best that Google Translate can offer, it appears that Alpha Classics were using this test to evaluate the V12 Vantage GT3 for a customer - whether that customer were themselves or another party we do not know. The team do currently race V8 Vantage GT4's in their domestic Super Car Race Series but have also previously competed in other series with their GT2 Vantage, most lately at the AMR Festival at the Le Mans 24h last year.


If nothing else - at least he has good taste in ice cream!!
