More gongs for AMR, drivers and team at prize givings

During the plethora of post season prize giving ceremonies over the last few days, Aston Martin Racing, their drivers and customer teams have each received accolades for their services to and achievements in motor racing during 2016.
Today saw AMR factory driver and European Le Mans Series Champion Darren Turner receive the Colin Chapman Trophy from the British Racing Drivers Club (BRDC) at their annual Award lunch at the Grand Connaught Rooms in central London.
The award is presented to ‘an individual who has shown great team spirit’, in recognition of the part Turner has played in the success of Aston Martin Racing.
Then there was Tom Ferrier who received the Nigel Moores Trophy for his teams extra-ordinary performance this year, not just winning the British GT championship but also the GT3 Le Mans Cup Team Championship as well as a highly competitive run in the International GT Open series.
