Could British GT include another Dane for 2017?

Having time over these long, dark winter nights to trawl through the internet for the tiniest snippets of information that could be pasted together into something meaningful for the forthcoming season does sometimes come up with something interesting.

Catching our eye this week was a posting on his own Facebook page of young Danish single seater racer Jan Jonck having privately tested an Aston Martin Racing V8 Vantage GT4 with both Beechdean AMR and MacMillan Racing as he looks to progress his racing career in 2017.


Taking information from his posting, these tests were both conducted at Donington and were his first visit to the circuit despite competing in a part season in the UK with Sean Walkinshaw Racing's in the BRDC F3 series.


We will wait and see if he can come up with a package that would allow him to progress up into GT racing with one of these teams as it will great to have a Danish presence back in the British GT paddock again.
