Testing continues apace for AMR

Wednesday, February 01, 2017

Whilst press releases are being finalised and the fixture and fittings at the venue of tomorrows WEC/ACO web conference are being polished, for the Aston Martin Racing team (at least) it was back to business with yet more testing.

Following on from the pre-Christmas test at Sebring where Nicki Thiim and Jonny Adam undertook an extensive Dunlop tyre test, today saw both Marco Sorensen join Dunlop test driver Daniel Serra to continue that development with the teams Dunlop partners at the southern France test circuit at Paul Ricard.

One special feature of the circuit is of course the fact that the track can be made wet at will by virtue of an integral water sprinkler system.

Tomorrow afternoon we shall find out the number of AMR entries into the WEC/ACO sanctioned series together with a 'lead' driver.
