New Vantage GT3 chassis for Solaris Motorsport
Monday, April 03, 2017
A simple photograph (above) posted by the team onto social media would indicate that the Italian squad, Solaris Motorsport have indeed elected/or been forced into taking a new Aston Martin Racing V12 Vantage GT3 chassis to replace the one that was heavily damaged last month in testing.
We know from records that the team's car that Francesco Sini was driving when he aquaplaned off at the International GT Open Winter Test at the Paul Ricard circuit in early March was Chassis #30 whereas the photo supplied by the team shows chassis #37 - which by our understanding must be one the newest V12 Vantage GT3 chassis about!!!
The team of Sini and new driver Mauro Calamia need to get back out on track very soon to be ready for the first round of the International GT Open series that starts in Estoril at the end of April having already lost the month of March.
