Countdown to green at Le Mans 24

The 24 Hours of Le Mans is obviously not just a race but an event, with each stage of the proceedings being an event in itself. Here we'll take a quick run through just some of the events available on and off circuit prior to the green flag being waved next Saturday afternoon.
Sunday 11th June
Le Canard de la Sarthe
A now traditional charitable fund raising rubber duck race down the Le Sarthe river involving over 20,000 of the yellow foul being launched with some great prizes to be won - details HERE
Le Pesage
The start of the scrutineering process for all the cars of drivers ready for the start of the on track sessions that start on Wednesday. The sixty entries will be processed in full view of the public in the centre of Le Mans town in the Place de la Republique - timetable HERE
Monday 12th June
Conclusion of the Le Pesage process
Tuesday 13th June
Official team/driver photographs from the gid
First driver autograph/pit lane walk
The local village of Neuville-sur-Sarthe will hold a special event featuring a rerun of last years event
Wednesday 14th June
Another pit walk opportunity
First Free Practice sessions on track for LM24 entries and Road to Le Mans support race
First Qualifying session for LM24 entries
Thursday 15th June
Arnage village holding their own homage to the great race and its characters
Free Practice sessions for Porsche Carrera Cup support race
Qualifying for Road to Le Mans support race
First race for Road to Le Mans entries
Final Qualifying sessions for LM24 entries
Friday 16th June
No track action
Final pit lane walk opportunity
Saint Saturnin - Great British Welcome. Perhaps the biggest off circuit event held annually for the love of the big race.
As well as one from Mulsanne Village slightly closer to home and on and just off the track itself
The 22nd running of the Drivers parade through the streets of Le Mans town rounds off a great day
