AMR's single bullet at the Spa 24

For the second time in two years, the Oman Racing Team entered V12 Vantage GT3 is the sole Aston Martin Racing car entered into this weeks pinnacle Blancpain GT event - the Spa 24.

The #97 TF Sport prepared car will be raced by team/series regulars Ahmad Al Harthy and Jonny Adam who will this year be joined by fellow TF Sport racers Salih Yoluc and Euan Hankey, again in the Pro-Am class.

Today saw the first of this years track action with a three hour Bronze driver test that both Al Harthy and Yoluc will have participated in and unsurprisingly for Spa, that session this afternoon was extremely wet!


Tomorrow afternoon sees the 64 car entry participate in their annual parade through the street of Spa Francorchamps before an autograph session in the town centre before the cars are driven back the circuit ready the first of the Qualifying sessions on Thursday evening. Super-pole, for the top Pro entries takes place on Friday evening

The start of the race itself starts at 16.30Hrs local on Saturday afternoon and can be viewed live HERE

The #97 car presently lies fourth in the Pro-Am Championship 30 points behind the class leading Rinaldi Racing Ferrari.
