No sooner than his hectic 2017 racing season had come to an end that Aston Martin Racing driver Jonny Adam became equally busy collecting all his end of season accolades for what has been an incredible year for the young Scotsman.

Presumably, the highlight of his season (and his career to date) was his last lap endeavours in France back in June that allowed him to take the chequered flag to the win the GTE Pro class at Le Mans along with co-drivers Darren Turner and Daniel Serra.

Before and after Le Mans in fact, Adam was claiming silverware galore with his busy exploits in the British GT, Blancpain GT (including a class win at the Spa24) and World Endurance Championships and that season performance has this week allowed him to claim further awards from the likes of the British Racing Drivers Club and the Scottish Motor Racing Club.

The 'Award Season' started well in Paris last week where Adam, Al Harthy and Yoluc claimed their Blancpain GT Pro-Am winners trophies after a great season with the TF Sport prepared Oman Racing Vantage GT3.

Then last weekend Adam was presented with the SMRC's Calland Trophy which is awarded to the best performing Scottish driver competing on an international stage. That was then not just matched but exceeded today at the annual BRDC Awards where he was awarded the Fairfield Trophy (top) for the most outstanding performance from a BRDC member.

He and Darren Turner were also jointly awarded the Woolf Barnato and ERA Trophies for being the highest placed British drivers in a British car at Le Mans!

Its been quite a year, a great year in fact and we look forward to seeing what he can do next season. Besides, all these trophies will at least keep him busy over the winter months building something big enough to house them all in!!
