China GT 2018 kicks off this weekend

The China GT Championship 2018 kicks off this weekend from the Zhuhai International Circuit in southern China this weekend sporting an as yet officially declared entry list.
Some cars from the Championship did figure in a recent Official Test last month from the Beijing Goldenport Circuit but that transpired into something of a washout with many of the teams now apparently using the availability of the circuit this week for some last minute testing.
What we believe so far is that China Equity AMR will be entering four of their Aston Martin Racing V8 Vantage GT4's into the Pro-Am class (including the two new chassis flown over from Prodrive in time for last months TEST) but last years Customer Team, Zea Fia Racing will not be taking part in the Championship this year.
Having taken third in the GT4 class for the team's Stanley Yang last year it was hoped that two familiar names from the UK would be taking part in the full season alongside a more 'local' Am driver each but that appears now not to be the case.
Hopefully, details will be confirmed by the Championship over the next couple of days.
