Straus to race again with Automatic Racing at the Glen

Monday, June 25, 2018

Teenage American racer, Aurora Straus will be rejoining the Automatic Racing team in their Aston Martin Racing V8 Vantage GT4 for the next round of the Continental Tyre Sports Car Challenge from Watkins Glen this weekend.

Having already made a lasting impression with the team the first time they all raced together at the opening round of the CTSCC at the Daytona 24 event earlier this year, Straus has been methodically improving her race craft in a BMW M3 that she races in the Pirelli World Challenge Series in the States.

With regular driver Stephen Phillips having been incapacitated in an accident during Qualifying at the Aston Martin Racing Festival from Le Mans earlier this month, Straus has a received a late 'call up' to partner Al Carter in the teams #99 car for this weekend's events (maybe longer?).

We of course wish her all the best as well as Stephen Phillips who, we believe is returning home today after stays in hospitals in both France and England after his Thursday evening accident at Le Mans.
