Spa Francorchamps is certainly the race track to be at tomorrow as over sixty GT3 cars descend on the legendary Belgium circuit for the Official Test ahead of this years Total 24Hours of Spa that takes place later this month.

With the next round of the parallel British GT Championship also due to have its next round at the circuit just the weekend before the 24Hr we can expect that both tomorrows test and the fifth round of the British GT Championship will be inundated with entries concentrating on the showpiece SRO event.

The Blancpain GT Endurance Series does of course already have three full season Aston Martin Racing entries in their midst with the two R-Motorpsort Pro class cars alongside the Oman Racing by TF Sport car in the new for 2018 Silver Cup. Today we also saw AMR reserve factory driver Ross Gunn confirmed with the Oman Racing car alongside season regulars Ahmad Al Harthy, Euan McKay and Charlie Eastwood whereas R-Motorpsort already have sufficient numbers on board.

Joining them at the circuit are the two BGT entries from the TF Sport team with Gentleman Drivers Derek Johnston and Mark Farmer being joined by both Nicki Thiim (already at the event due to his R-Motorsport commitments) and fellow Dane Train driver Marco Sorensen as part of the their customer team commitments with the factory.

Optimum Motorsport have also declared their attendance with AMR factory driver Jonny Adam and presumably Flick Haigh alongside.

Joining them will be local team Aston Martin Brussels who will be fielding an entirely 'local' driver line having last raced at their home track last month in the International GT Open Championship with former GT Academy winner Wolfgang Reip.

We are expecting most, if not all of the AMR British GT contingent to be at the test but we still await a formal release of entries for the test which takes place between 09:00 - 12:00 and 13:00 - 18:00Hrs local.
