A fine trio of AMR V8 Vantage GT4's for sale

Monday, December 17, 2018

Our latest trawl across the race car markets this week has highlighted a fine trio of 'old school' - normally aspirated V8 Vantage GT4's on the Racecarsdirect.com website.

Starting with the #67 Bilstein sponsored car that was raced by Australian tin top convertee Jeremy Gray in this years Australian GT Championship to such great effect that he scooped the inaugural GT4 Class Championship win with still the final round remaining.

Having had those at Miedecke Motorsports source him the car from Academy Motorsport in the UK two years ago, Gray would step up the national GT ladder this year together with Andrew Miedecke for the longer Endurance rounds to secure the National GT4 title at the first time of asking.

Unfortunately, Gray has already informed us that he will not be GT racing in 2019

The next car up for sale is the #72 Whitebridge AMR car that team boss Chris Murphy and GT convertee Adam Hatfield used in the second half of their GT Cup Championship campaign to secure both the GTH and Overall Championship titles.

Previously in the ownership of Generation AMR SuperRacing, Murphy's team acquired the car in time for this years Aston Martin Racing Festival at Le Mans having had their previous AMR GT4 destroyed in a testing crash mid season.

We know that at the final round of the GT Cup Championship, Whitebridge AMR fielded three V8 Vantage GT4's including this one - we still wait to hear what their plans may be for 2019.

Finally, we see this former Jota car, again last seen out at this years Aston Martin Racing Festival at Le Mans in the hands of Stephen and Felix Archer. Previous rounds of this Festival have seen the likes of Rowan Atkinson race the car around the Circuit de La Sarthe as well as Jota personal such as Simon Dolan, Sam Hancock and Roger Willis in high class 24hour events around Europe.
