Le Mans 24Hour timetable

Last Sunday saw the Official Test at the Circuit de La Sarthe ahead of next weeks conclusion to the 2018-19 FIA World Endurance Championship at the 24 Hours of Le Mans.
With Le Mans being more of an experience than just another race meeting, here are a few more things to look out for during next week as not only the sixty cars scheduled to race prepare themselves but also as the local communities around the circuit pay homage to the 87th running of the event.
Sunday 9th June sees the start of the scrutineering process - or le pesage from the Place de La Republique in the centre of Le Mans town. Not only are the cars checked for conformity but this will be the first time the public will be able to view and photograph the each driver line with their cars.
Monday 10th June sees the conclusion of the le pesage with the four Aston Martin Racing V8 Vantage GTE's from both the factory squad and Partner team TF Sport due to attend from 15:00hrs local.
Tuesday 11th June will see the entire 180+ drivers pose for the annual official photograph along the pit straight back at the circuit.
The nearby town of Ruadin present their "1949-1959 Birth of Legends" celebration with special emphasis upon rare examples of Aston Martin and Ferrari GT race cars (with others) of that era. This takes place between 16:00-23:00hrs.

Neuville-sur-Sarthe, another local village again puts on their free open air screening of last years official 24Hours of Le Man film.
Wednesday 12th June sees the first of two pit walks (between 10:00-15:00hrs) where fans will be able to watch their favourite team complete the final touches to their cars ahead of the first track action later in the day.

Arnage village will be showing off their "L'elegance a la Francaise" with over 130 examples of French expected to be on display.

Friday 14th June is the turn of the village of Mulsanne to again put on another great show of cars and bikes at the Virage de Mulsanne with special guests including AMR's Maxime Martin
Further afield to the circuit sees the Classic British Welcome from the town of Saint Saturnin just to the north east off the circuit. This years theme is with cars from the Moragn family.
The second and final pit walk is also available all day with further cars of interest dotted along the track from pit exit and up to the Dunlop Bridge.
The annual drivers parade also takes place in Le Mans town between 17:00-18:30hrs so get there early to claim a good vantage point.
Saturday 15th June sees the LM24 cars have the opportunity of a quick warm up session on track between 09:00-09:45hrs
