AMR's latest customer GT3 car to debut at Spa Francorchamps with a factory driver

We had heard earlier this year that Quinn was due to receive his new V8 turbo charged Vantage from the factory at some point mid season to his Australian GT Championship commitments and the announcement of this 'bucket list' endeavour fits perfectly with those timelines.


What is particularly exciting is that Quinn not only gets to drive his new car at one of the most challenging circuits in the world and away from his now domestic environment is that he also gets to do that under the ever watchful guiding eye of AMR factory driver Darren Turner.

“I’m incredibly excited to race at Spa-Francorchamps. It’s one of those ‘bucket list’ circuits that a driver like me, who’s based on the other side of the world, doesn’t get many opportunities to compete at,” said Quinn.

“The V8 Vantage GT3 is a serious piece of kit and I’m looking forward to seeing what it can do. It will be a learning experience for me, but I’m confident that with a team like M2 Competition and a Le Mans-winning co-driver like Darren Turner behind me, we can cause a surprise or two.”


Liveried up to reflect his some of his own business commitments in Australia and New Zealand, the former guardian of the Australian GT Championship car will be entered and maintained by the M2 Competition team for the race that will take place on the 21st July before being shipped over maybe in time for the fifth round of Australian GT Champion at Sandown Motor Raceway in late September!
