Team Virage venture into DTM's new Trophy Series

Wednesday, December 11, 2019

Great to see Barcelona based Team Virage offer seats for the new for 2020 DTM Trophy Series with one of their Aston Martin Racing V8 Vantage GT4's

Announced only about a month ago, this new series for GT4 based machinery will throw many 'norms' that other GT series use away and go for something different with both driver rankings nor operate the SRO's own balance of performance levels being operated.

Operating under a two Free Practice sessions, Qualifying and two thirty minute races on both Saturday and Sunday format, this series will feature prominantly on the DTM support package instead of their outdated Audi Seyffarth Trophy across seven of their race weekends next year.

Having run this season in parts in both the GT4 South Europe Series and the 24H Series, the team will be hoping to entice the right young drivers with a winning driver under 22 years old ultimately being offered a DTM test drive at the end of the season.

Prospective drivers with budget please contact lucy@virage.ws for season proposal, with winter test dates also available.
