Beechdean AMR seek Bronze driver for European campaign

Monday, February 03, 2020

Perhaps hidden under the sheer volume of racing news coming out of Australia from last weekends Bathurst 12hr spectacular, saw Andrew Howard of Beechdean AMR post a little piece on his social media well worth repeating in terms of driver opportunity.

Having just made it back home having been in central Paris the evening before to reveal his teams first driver pairing and an all Silver assault on the 2020 British GT Championship GT3 Silver Cup Class with Valentin Hasse-Clot and Alex Toth-Jones saw Howard offer an opportunity for a part budget paying Bronze driver to join the team in Europe later this year.

Without substantiating which series or with whom in the car, this must be a rare chance for a suitable qualified and funded Gentleman or woman driver to go racing within a proven chassis, with a proven team and without even having to pay out full market rates for the privilege? In their announcements from Paris last week - maybe there were just a few clues there into who with and where?!

Last year, Howard raced alongside Aston Martin Racing WEC factory driver Ross Gunn in the teams AMR Vantage GT3 in the ACO rules Le Mans Cup from which they came away with third overall in the the Series and with several podiums (including at Le Mans) in the process.

Interested parties need two be contacting the team at AMR@beechdean.co.uk quickly!
