Time passing galleries - Part 1 DBR9/DBRS9

Monday, April 13, 2020

As the COVID-19 global lockdown continues into yet another week here in the UK, in-between our own assigned 'chores' at home we have now had a bit of time to trawl through first of our many portable hard drives to start coming up with some more galleries of a 'more historical' Aston Martin Racing customer team nature for your perusal.

Not listed in any particular order of race event sequence, our journey appears to have started (to a limited degree) at the FIA GT1 World Championship from Silverstone in 2010 where of course the Aston Martin DBR9 was the 'weapon of choice' for both the Hexis Racing and Fischer Racing (Young Driver AMR) teams. Most of these shots were taken from public viewing areas at both Silverstone and Snetterton circuits.

We are using AMR's blue logo above as our continued support for the health and welfare services around the globe as the Coronavirus threat is been fought off too many times over on a daily basis.

Hexis AMR then went on to compete within the new Blancpain Endurance Series with the new DBRS9 GT3 variant at this final round of the season from Silverstone in 2011.

Back home in the UK, teams like Barwell, Vantage Racing and Beechdean Motorsports also entered the new DBRS9 into the British GT Championship in both 2010 and 2011 respectively.

End.
