After the four rounds of the Super Taikyu Series so far, it’s off to the Suzuka Circuit this weekend for the multi-class Japanese series as D’Station Racing aim to solidify their top-class ST-X position at the top of the class as well as move up in the ST-Z class for their GT4 entry.

For their #777 Aston Martin racing Vantage GT3 crew of Satoshi Hoshino, Tomonobu Fujii and Tsubasa Kondo having maintain their four out of four-podium run with a P2 finish at Autopolis last time out, the #777 crew hold a slender eleven-point lead from the #290 Floral Racing McLaren 720S going into this weekend’s five-hour race.

For their AMR Vantage GT4 crew of Tatsuya Hoshino, Max Orido, Takuro Shinohara and Kenji Hama, a class win last time out bolstered their ST-Z Championship aspirations by lifting them up to P4 in class and just twenty-one and a half points behind the class leading Endless Sports Mercedes AMG GT4 with two rounds remaining.

Taking momentum gained by the team at this year’s Le Mans 24hr where drivers Hoshino and Fujii finished their inaugural AMR/LM24 24 race P6 in the highly competitive GTE Am Class with TF Sport, the team are taking time to test at Sugo this week with two of their available AMR Vantage GT3’s ahead of this weekend’s events to maximise their chances against the forty six car – nine car class grid.
