Le Mans 24Hr GTE Am Class - #98 Northwest AMR Vantage GTE Gallery

The demons of last year’s early exit from the 24 Hours of Le Mans were well and truly banished by the #98 Northwest Aston Martin Racing GTE crew on Sunday after they secured an overall P3 GTE Am class finish at the fall of the chequered flag.

With Paul Dalla Lana and Nicki Thiim returning with LM24 debutant David Pittard, their mindset was clear from the start being the only one of the three AMR Vantage GTE crews to make it through to the Hyperpole Qualifying session, eventually starting the race from fourth in class on the grid.

Despite the rejuvenated performances of the Porsche GTE Am class entries at the start of the race, another dogged and determined approach from the team saw the early gaps in class close as the track temperature decreased and by the early hours of Sunday, had the #98 car circulating P5 in class.

Then with just over two hours remaining, Thiim took the car to P3 in class and secured their much-deserved podium finish for them to consolidate a secure P2 position in class as the World Endurance Championship moves onto Monza next month.

Again – these are just a few of the many photos taken by us at the weekend – hope you enjoy them!
