Young Kiwi racer Rianna O’Meara-Hunt has tonight confirmed that she is the successful candidate in the Heart Of Racing’s recent search for their first female racer next season.

Competing at a multi-day on and off-track test in Arizona a couple of weeks ago, the Heart of Racing Driver Academy driver back home in New Zealand beat off a vast range of nine other internationally based female racing drivers around her to secure the coveted seat within one of the team’s Aston Martin Racing Vantage GT4’s during next seasons GT4 America Series with an as yet unconfirmed co-driver.

“The shootout in Phoenix was an amazing experience – the other drivers were all top notch yet all were so supportive and encouraging of each other. A great family environment in which to immerse myself to reach my full potential” said Rianna as she now moves up the racing ladder again from tin tops to GT4’s – but on an international scale this time.

Well done to her and we look forward to watching her next season.
