A major dilemma averted for Bullitt Racing ahead of their Asian Le Mans Series encounters

Unbelievable news out of the Bullitt Racing stables this morning regarding the shipment (or at least envisaged shipment) of their Aston Martin Racing Vantage GT3 to the Middle East in time for the opening round of the Asian Le Mans Series that starts in Dubai in just over a week’s time.

Despite having containerised their car and all their equipment in good time at the beginning on the month, an unwelcomed phone call from their local dock operator near Barcelona earlier confirmed that their precious cargo was in fact still sitting on the quayside, still in Spain and going nowhere quickly.

Fortunately for all concerned, team owner and team Principle Stephen and Steffan Pattrick (respectively) have had their #66 car and equipment flown out to the Dubai Autodrome at the great expense that that represents just so that drivers Valentin Hasse-Clot, Jacob Riegel and Martin Berry can fulfil their desires to compete within the ACO rules series that starts over the weekend of the 11/12th February in Dubai and the 18/19th February at the Yas Marina in Abu Dhabi.

For the shipping agent concerned – well, we’d imagine that they’re still a little bit deafened from the team’s probably rather vocal reply to such a dilemma!!
