Feathers Motorsport chase a repeat of their GT Cup season opening results in Rd2

Tuesday, April 25, 2023

Having been artful enough to populate their class podium in all four races of the opening round at Donington Park at the start of the month, the Feather Motorsport team will be back in action this weekend as the GT Cup Championship enters the full Grand Prix loop of the Brands Hatch Circuit.

Competing again with their #82 Aston Martin Racing Vantage GT4, gentleman driver James Guess will again be partnered by former AMR Academy winner Tom Canning for this weekend’s two sprint and pit stop races over both Saturday and Sunday.

Last time out, the duo sampled the view from each step of the GTH podium after Guess finished both solo driven sprint races in third and first before kind of mirroring that in the longer pit stop and driver change punctuated endurance races where he and Canning finished first on Saturday and second on Sunday.

Competing within another multi-class grid of twenty-eight cars, the #82 GTH class car will compete against another nine GTH classed cars as well as for points within the overall table where they presently lay third overall, beaten only so far by a GT3 car and a Ferrari Challenge class car.

Both races on each day shall take place after lunch at the Kent circuit.
