Magnus Racing try something a little different at the weekend

Monday, July 31, 2023

Motorsport is obviously a serious business with both the risks and the costs involved, but every now and again it’s good to let your hair down a little and have some fun!

That is what the Magnus Racing Aston Martin Racing team did over the weekend as John Potter and Andy Lally entered the NASA (National Auto Sport Association) Sunchaser six-hour enduro with their AMR Vantage GT3.

Competing within a diverse grid of twenty-eight cars, the #44 car eventually came home nine laps ahead of their nearest rival around the three mile circuit and despite cockpits hitting one hundred degrees at the height of the day.

Despite the fun, there will obviously be lessons there to be learned as the team look forward to their next endurance round of the IMSA Weathertech Sportscar Champiosnhip.
