Prosport Racing fly the AMR flag solo this time at the Lausitzring round of the ADAC GT4 Germany Series

This time, only four Aston Martin Racing Vantage GT4 crews enter this weekend’s fourth round of the ADAC GT4 Germany Series from the Lausitzring as the Doer Motorsport entry prepares themselves for another twelve-hour adventure around the Nordschliefe next month.

That leaves ‘just’ the four entries from the Prosport Racing team to fly the flag again having enjoyed something of a special event last time out at their local Nurburgring circuit earlier in the month where both the #1 and #48 car each returned with class silverware for their efforts.

Either through familiarisation of their local circuit or by the means of a possible BoP change for the AMR platform, team reigning champions Mike David Ortmann and Hugo Sasse secured both a race win and P2 finish at the end of that weekends timetable with the #48 Trophy class crew of Yevgen Sokolovskiy and Damon Surzyshyn earning themselves a class win too for their efforts.

Newcomers to the series, the #19 crew of Raphael Rennhofer and Leon Erger proved themselves well in the wet conditions and although podium finishes finally escaped them, their potential together is obvious over the final three rounds of the season.

The all lady #13 crew of Celia Martin and Fabienne Wohlwend added no luck to their season so far despite changing chassis to the former Bachmann driven car with a lowly finish in Saturdays race before rounding a rotten weekend off with a DNF in race 2.

Those results saw the #1 Prosport crew re-establish themselves at the top of both the drivers and teams championship tables despite what was something of a shaky start for them all.

As for Ben Dorr and Theo Nouet, they have obviously elected to sit out this and the next rounds of the ADAC GT4 Germany Series from the Sachensring later in September to concentrate on what is being listed the 12Hours of the Nurburgring with NLS round six and seven running consecutively to one another over the same weekend.

With their ADAC GT4 position so low, they have nothing to lose!
