Super GT from Suzuka rescheduled after another Typhoon is forecasted this weekend
Wednesday, August 28, 2024
With the expected increase in rainfall as well as wind speed, public safety has been put to the forefront with the event now delayed until the 7/8th December.
That news obviously affects the #777 D’Station Racing team and their expected driver line up of Tomonobu Fujii and Charlie Fagg as Marco Sorensen was again on FIA World Endurance Championship driver duty with the Japanese team over at the Circuit of the Americas in Austin, Texas.
After the previous round from Fuji at the beginning of the month, the #777 crew clocked up their fourth points scoring finish of the season to sit fourth within the GT300 Drivers and Teams Championship tables, eighteen points behind the leaders with four rounds remaining (including this rescheduled date).
That now leaves time for some within the team to support Sorenson, Clement Mateu and Erwan Bastard within their #777 Vantage LMGT3 entry from CoTA.
