Eight Astons listed to return as the Iberian Spercar Series hits Valencia for the first time this weekend

Having competed already at Jerez, Jarama and Estoril already, this weekend welcomes another bumper grid of thirty GT4 powered crews who will again compete within any of the available Pro, Bronze or Am classes over the course of their two forty-five-minute races at the circuit for the first time on Sunday.

Within that entry, we again welcome back eight Aston Martin Racing Vantage GT4 powered crews – mainly from the Portuguese based Racar Motorsport and Araujo Competicao teams but with also a solo car entry from the French based Mirage Racing team.
That is good news to see as Racar Motorsports do have four of the AMR Vantage GT4 fleet up for sale upon the Racecarsdirect.com site but we do recall that the new 2024 Vantage GT4 Evo did get its first run out in the series last time out with Racar.

Last time out at Estoril, that was a podium winning achievement for three such crews as the #777 Am class Racar car of Ruben Vaquinhas and Pedro Bastos Rezende secured P3 in Race 1 with a class win in Race 2 whilst the #2 Pro Racar car of Manual Giao and Mathieu Martins secured an overall race win in Race 2 with the #41 Bronze classed Mirage car of Stepan Suslov securing their first class win for the young Russian in Race 2.
Those results have left both Giao/Martins second within the Pro class, a solo Suslov fifth in Bronze with Vaquinhas/Bastos Rezende likewise in Am.

Race one will start at 10:10hrs local whilst Race two is at later at 15:55hrs on Sunday.
