Just the solo Aston Martin Vantage GT4 on the streets of Macau this weekend

Wednesday, November 13, 2024

The Eatnos lubricants sponsored #87 car remains the sole Aston Martin Racing powered participant at this year’s 71st running of the Macau Grand Prix.

Sadly not within the main FIA GT World Cup event of course, the BSEM supported entry competes within the still competitive Greater Bay Area GT4 race with Taipei based driver Yang Meng Chiao behind the wheel.

With twenty-eight cars still listed, technical inspections have already taken place ahead of the opening of track action around the 3.8mile Guia street based circuit layout where its total width can be no more than 7.0m wide in places.

History has proven that overtaking is extremely difficult without risks being taken with some races restricted to just one part lap before accident and incident has put paid to the actual race event.

Track action begins on Thursday with the first Free Practice session before Qualifying on Friday and its allotted twelve lap race early on Sunday morning local time.
