NLS series rounds off at the Nordschleife this weekend
Wednesday, November 13, 2024
Another four-hour round, this weekend will of course be strictly dependent upon there being raceable track conditions around the historical circuit after even rounds within the summer months have been hampered with things like lingering fog.
With class championships all but done and dusted for the two AMR powered teams concerned, we see the locally based Prosport Racing team return with (certainly) an elevation up to the all-Pro SP9 class for their #17 car as Nico Bastian, Marek Bochmann and Adam Christodoulou join up together for the first time. Whilst the entry does feature a second GT3 entry from the team with the #12 car, news today direct from Prosport Racing suggests just the one entry but with a further GT4 entry.
That #140 entry within the GT4 based SP8T Class presently lists just long-term customer Guido Dumarey who will apparently made a last-minute decision whether to race or not – who with is also up for debate.
That leaves the two AMR Vantage GT4’s from the Dorr Motorsport stable with both the #169 and #179 cars due to compete again within the SP10 class. Full season entrants Oskar Sandberg, Aaron Wenisch and Nick Wustenhagen return within the #169 whilst the sister #170 car will be driven by Phil Dorr with two ‘newbies’ in Stefan Gaukler and someone called Montana!!
