Whilst we already have the IMSA Weathertech Sportscar Championship official test already underway featuring three Aston Martin Racing powered teams this weekend at Daytona, other have already or are at least planning to do likewise before the year is out.
Yesterday saw the Swiss based Racing Spirit of Leman team test unknown drivers at an available high level test day at the Paul Ricard circuit in southern France. Listed as running an AMR Vantage GT3, they managed to come top during the morning session and third in the class after the afternoon session within a mix of LMP2/LMP3/GT3 and GT4 machinery. They did not however run today and if that had anything to do with an expected step up into the FIA WEC????????
Next, we see the likes of Matisse Lismont, Matt Topham and Mex Jensen all compete within the lower classes of this weekend’s final round of the German NLS series around the Nurburgring Nordschleife as they contemplate just where they want to be at in the new year.

MKH Racing were out at Snetterton earlier this week with their new AMR Vantage GT4 Evo that they hope to race with in either the GT Cup or British GT Championship. Their resident Pro driver Stuart Hall was kind enough to post some images of that before flying out to support ROFGO's entry within the Macau GP.
Then we have the Walkenhorst Motorsport team offering a three-day test for appropriately funded drivers later next month. Nothing much new there really considering the German team ran a whole fleet of AMR Vantage GT3’s within the GT World Challenge Europe Sprint and Endurance Cup (final round of that is next weekend in Jeddah) and ADAC GT Masters – this test is however with the new AMR Vantage GT4 Evo so there are plans afoot within GT4 racing.
And it won’t be stopping there as the weeks pass us by…………….!!
