Racing Spirit of Leman complete their WEC driver line up with another familiar name

I nice piece of pre-Christmas news emerged today as the Racing Spirit of Leman team confirmed their third and final driver element ahead of their step up to the World Endurance Championship for next season.

With drivers Derek DeBoer and Valentin Hasse-Clot already confirmed within their #10 Aston Martin Racing Vantage LMGT3 as they setup together from their European Le Mans Series endeavours of this season gone, today’s news sees Eduardo Barrichello join their midst for a new career path of GT racing.

Son of F1 legend Rubens Barrichello, the young Brazilian is actually no stranger to the new AMR Vantage GT3 having tested one at Snetterton way back when at the end of 2023 when the factory was busy canvassing prospective team owners and drivers towards their new for 2024 Vantage GT3 and GT4 platforms.

Coming from his domestic Stock Car Pro Series, the Brazilian will have much to learn ahead of the Season Prologue Test and opening round to the season in Qatar at the end of February.
