We have all known for some time now that the RoFGo owned #009 Lola Aston Martin DBR1-2 P1 car has been entered into the Aston Martin Festival at the 24Hrs of Le Mans this year, but what would the chances be of another DBR1-2 also entering such an event?
To be frank - we have absolutely no information upon which to base this or any other assumption on other than the fact that the #009 has recently tested at Snetterton with Stuart Hall at the wheel and that its sister #007 car also recently tested at both Spa and Barcelona.
Sort of 2 + 2 = 4 and a bit style!
With the #007 (we believe) to be in the mechanical expertise of the extremely passionate historical racing Kupka brothers, could the lure of pitching their car against another be too much to resist?? Depends what the paymasters say really!
With just over a month to go before the Aston Martin Festival all you and I can do in the absence of any confirmed information from the 'man in the know' at Banbury is dream …… but what a dream it would be!!
