Two days of productive testing was the aim of the Aston Martin Racing factory team alongside multiple cars from their Partner Teams at their annual winter test at Valencia this week.

For most of the cars and many of the drivers present, there was something new for them to get used to - be that advanced aero, new tyres, new car or even the full combination and whilst some of the drivers at the test had already been 'announced' within any particular race programme, others were there in a strictly 'testing' capacity (wink wink!!).

As far as we have been able to make out the test was attended by at least two GTE's, five GT3's and four GT4s shared amongst teams like Beechdean, TF Sport, Academy Motorsport, Massive Motorsport, Generation AMR SuperRacing and the AMR factory itself.

Fortunately for us and unlike previous years, the full factory announcements had already been made so there was no need for a news embargo on the proceedings so pictures and video were plentiful.

It also appears that many drivers swapped between cars (driving cars that they are not necessarily down to race in during 2016) and 'good fun' was had by all.

For the WEC and ELMS entries we will next see them out on track at the Dunlop Tyre test at Aragon, Spain in a couple of weeks followed The Prologue at the Paul Ricard circuit at the end of March, the British GT entries at the series Media Day at Snetterton in a couple of weeks and the Massive Motorsport out for the first time in the Creventic series at Mugello in just over three weeks time.
