Fannin joins PFL Motorsport for British GT

PFL Motorsport are pleased to announce that Jody Fannin will drive alongside Pete Littler in the Select Security Aston Martin Vantage GT3 in this year's British GT Championship. Jody, at 22, has already made a major impact on the premier sports car series winning the GT4 Championship in 2012 and then progressing to a GT3 Aston Martin in 2014, winning the International GT Open round at Silverstone alongside factory driver Darren Turner.
British Aston Martin Racing Evolution Academy Driver Jody, who signed off from the 2015 British GT Season with a pole and two podiums in a TF Sport Aston Martin is relishing his second full championship in GT3. “I’m really pleased that I am continuing in the V12 Vantage in 2016 and look forward to working with PFL Motorsport and Peter Littler” said the BRDC Rising Star. “When we first met it was clear that we shared the same objectives and I can’t wait to get started.”
Andrew Williamson from Aston Martin Racing commented on the move to PFL “It is great to see Jody continue with his progression in the sport with Aston Martin, we are keen to develop young talent through the academy and wish him every success in the new season.”
For Pete Littler, the first amputee to race in GT3, the signing ticks all the boxes, “Jody combines an exciting talent with experience of the Aston Martin on the UK circuits and I am looking forward to building a successful partnership this season”
The Championship starts with a media day at Snetterton circuit on March 15th with the first round at the classic Brands Hatch GP circuit on April 16th and 17th.
