First outing for Generation AMR SuperRacing
Thursday, February 18, 2016
Today saw one of British GT's newer GT4 teams hit the track at Rockingham for the first time in readiness for the opening round of the 2016 championship at Brands Hatch in April.
Earlier in January we saw the confirmation that long time GT Racers and Aston Martin Racing Partner team Generation AMR would return to the British GT championship under the full team name of Generation AMR SuperRacing with a new for 2016, Aston Martin Racing V8 Vantage GT4.
Driving would be the SuperDry clothing range co founder and designer James Holder and Base Performance simulator technician Matt George - two inexperienced race car drivers.
It is understood that today's test was the first time that the car has been driven by the single driver available today and was only a systems shakedown in readiness to further testing next week where both drivers learning curve would begin in earnest under the watchful eye of team boss James Appleby.
