TRG returns to the IMSA Weathertech championship at Laguna Seca

Having only competed at the opening round of the 2016 IMSA Weathertech Sportscar Championship back at the Daytona 24H at the end of January, The Racers Group have this week confirmed their return to the IMSA series at Round 4 at Mazda Raceway Laguna Seca at the end of April.

The team have confined that team stalwart James Davison, a driver who cemented the inexperienced driver line at the 24H before demise due to third party collision damage, will return to their Voodoo blue #007 V12 Vantage GTD with team mate Brandon Davis.

Davison will also share a freshly acquired Lamborghini Huracán LP620-2 Super Trofeo with Derek DeBoer Lamborghini Blancpain Super Trofeo North America series at the same meeting.



“We are putting two very competitive programs on the track this weekend and happy to be back with our 007 Aston Martin GT3 in the highly competitive GTD class,” said Kevin Buckler, team principle.
