Aussie newcomer does well in Britcar

Visiting Australian Mal Sandford did himself proud at the weekend by earning himself the Driver of the Day Award at the penultimate round of the Britcar Endurance Championship race from Silverstone at the weekend.

Racing for the first time in the UK, the now Portuguese resident shared his pseudo AMR factory liveried Sterling Green and lime V8 Vantage GT4 with Clio Cup racer Ben Seyfried under the watchful eyes of those at EDF Motorsport. Finishing fourth in class in their first time out together and by improving by over ten seconds per lap over the course of the event was enough to earn this highly passionate AML fan that accolade.
