TF Sports new WEC AMR Vantage GTE's hit the track for the first time

Thursday, March 25, 2021

The two TF Sport supported Aston Martin Racing Vantage GTE’s that will feature within this years World Endurance Championship hit the track for the first time today at Silverstone with Andrew Watson putting them through their early paces ahead of the season opener at the end of April.

Just prior to the Rolex 24 from Daytona in January did Tom Ferrier’s team confirm the retention of ‘super’ Gentleman driver Ben Keating within his team for the 2021 WEC Season 9 where the American will join Dylan Pereira and Felipe Fraga aboard the #33 car.

Similarly, the team is also supporting the Japanese D’Station Racing team within the WEC as they step up to the world stage for the first time aboard their #777 AMR Vantage GTE with drivers Satoshi Hoshino, Tomonobu Fujii and Andrew Watson.

These photos from Steve Jackman (Eat my Pixels) may well be the only time we get to see the cars run in the UK as the Championship again misses out the UK within its six round season before they head off to Spa Francorchamps for what already is a ‘behind closed doors’ event.
