Finally eight Aston Martin Racing Vantage GT4s to compete at opening round of FFSA GT4

Monday, April 11, 2022

Finally getting through the remaining entry list for a series hosting their opening round of the 2022 season this weekend sees the FFSA GT4 Series confirm another healthy forty plus car entry.

Just weeks after conducting their Official Test at the circuit sees the French national series travel back to the 2.26mile circuit at Nogaro, close to the Pyrenees for their opening races of their six-round season.

Amongst those forty GT4 entries we have a massive eight cars from the Aston Martin Racing stable as the established AGS Events and Mirage Racing teams are this time joined by newcomers Spirit of Lemans and GPA Racing.

In addition to previous announcements, today’s entry list confirms the eight AMR partnerships as being: -

#89 AGS Events Racing - Nicolas Gomar/Loris Cabirou (Pro-Am)
#007 AGS Events Racing – Ewen Hachez/Hugo Bac (Silver)
#161 AGS Events Racing – Didier Dumaine/Christophe Carriere (Am)
#79 AGS Events Racing – Stephane Desbrosse/Lauris Nauroy (Am)

#74 Racing Spirit of Lemans – Romain Carton/Victor Weyrich (Pro-Am)
#92 Racing Spirit of Lemans – Ronald Basso/Sandro Perissouthi (Pro-Am)

#13 Mirage Racing – Romano Ricci/Valentin Hasse-Clot (Pro-Am)

#72 GPA Racing – Kevin Jimenez/Florent Grizaud

Despite previous announcements, it appears that Mirage Racing were unable to source a second driver for Ruben Del Sarte (at least) going into this opening round.

Like other SRO sanctioned GT4 series around the world, the FFSA GT4 Series will run with two, one-hour pit stop punctuated races per weekend with all races again streamed live (with only French commentary unfortunately) via the series social media channels.
