Another busy weekend coming up within the global TeamAMR family

Continuing another packed global programme of Aston Martin Racing customer and partner team racing this weekend sees multiple teams busy in France, Hungary, Germany and Japan.

Furthest afield sees the Japanese D’Station Racing team again back in the race seat after their busy participation within the centenary edition of the 24 Hours of Le Mans that culminated on Sunday albeit with another unfortunate and disappointing technical issue for their AMR Vantage GTE.

This weekend, they are Vantage GT3 based with the first round of the Japan Cup part of the GT World Challenge Asia Series but with not too far to travel this time for drivers Satoshi Hoshino and Tomonobu Fujii as this weekend’s two races will be from the base at Fuji Speedway.

Next up from France – Dijon to be specific sees the FFSA GT4 Series run their third round of the season after previous rounds from Nogaro and Magny-Cours but sadly with another slightly reduced head count in AMR Vantage GT4 runners compared to that of time.

This week featuring seven runners from the Mirage Racing, AGS Events Racing, GPA Racing and the Racing Spirit of Leman teams, this weekend will see the usual two one-hour rounds around the 2.63-mile Dijon-Prenois circuit in central France.

To date, the French national series have suffered a torrid time within both the Silver and Pro-Am classes although more AMR success is again being had within the Am class as Clement Dub and Ronald Basso stand second in class with their #74 Spirit of Leman car.

Other news from the AGS Events team however, sees them again offering for sale one of the Aston Martin’s on racecarsdirect.com at https://www.racecarsdirect.com/Advert/Details/137874/aston-martin-vantage-gt4

With no entry list yet published, we expect to see at least two Aston Martin’s at this weekend’s latest round of the Nurburgring Langstrecken Serie as that returns to the infamous Nordschliefe after its ADAC TotalEnergies 24H break earlier this month.

Prosport Racing are expected to prepare one car from each of the Vantage GT3 and GT4 fleet with driver confirmation also expected to be late due to non-availability of their more regular drivers.

Finally in Hungary, we see the latest round of the International GT Open Series from the Hungaroring with the #007 Street Art Racing AMR Vantage GT3 again flying the flag within that series Am class.

Have debuted together last time out at the endurance round of the series at Spa Francorchamps, Pascal Bachman is again joined by South African GT Racer Xolile Letlaka within the colourful #007 for a second time before he is expected to run his own Vantage GT3 within the series at later events.
