Back to business for Bullitt Racing from the Nurburgring this weekend

Late to the party again sees us only now looking forward to this weekend’s resumption of the GT World Challenge Europe Endurance Cup Series with their latest round from the Nurburgring and the return of the #33 Bullitt Racing Aston Martin Racing Vantage GT3.

Last time out at Spa Francorchamps for the Crowdstrike 24 Hours of Spa back at the beginning of the month saw the best season result to date for the team and trio of drivers Romain Leroux, Jacob Riegel and Jeff Kingsley after they (with Ruben Del Sarte) secured a P6 in Silver Cup class finish at the end of another gruelling twenty-four and despite some more technical issues along the way.

This weekend’s round in Germany will be the fourth of the Endurance Series so far after events at both Monza and Paul Ricard before that of the Spa 24. This weekend’s entry list sees no change within the #33 camp as the team competes against a Silver Cup class of eight amongst another sizeable grid of fifty-three cars.

Today’s two private test sessions saw fifty-one of those cars run with the #33 Bullitt Racing car P19 overall (P2 in class after this morning’s cooler and damper session) before seeing the day out P50 (P7 in class) by the end of the second session.

Tomorrow will see the ninety-minute Free Practice session run in the morning ahead of the ninety minute pre-Qualifying session over midday before Qualifying itself on Sunday morning and the start to the three hour race at 14:45Hrs local.
