Progressive step for the Brown's into GT Cup

Friday, April 22, 2016

It was great to read yesterday of father and son racing duo of Chris and Mika Brown will be stepping up to the GT Cup series with the 22GT Racing team that have now prepared their V8 Vantage GT4 for a number of years.

Previously competing within the Aston Martin Owners Club Racing series together with a periodic entry into the Britcar series, the 26 car entry for the GT Cup opener at Donington this weekend will give the duo the driving challenges that they have been looking for in the highly competitive GTA class.

They will also compete an identical V8 Vantage GT4 of Team Goinglean's Dean Gibbs/Duncan Horlor and much newer GT4 machinery in the guise of the new Porsche Cayman

The pairing are of course part of the small number of drivers to have actively competed on the historic full race track at Le Mans as part of last years Aston Martin Racings Festival - they also (unfortunately) found out how unforgiving it was as well!
