Having sat in the pipeline for several weeks now, Australian based Miedecke Motorsport have today confirmed their full Aston Martin Racing Partner status ahead of their first entrée into the GT Asia series later this month.
With the father and son team having recently purchased the former Craft Bamboo Racing Aston Martin Racing V12 Vantage GT3's the newly created team has now taken the place in vacated by Craft Bamboo Racing when they swapped over to Porsche at the tail end of last year!
The team have also formed an alliance with their race services partner (Matt Stone Racing) to form the new team of Miedecke Stone Racing under which all future races will be entered under. It is also apparent that the teams subsequent testing in Queensland following their disappointing Australian GT and Endurance double header at Phillip Island two weeks ago has also resulted in a new signing with Nathan Morcom (race winner at endurance opener in Techno McLaren) joining the team in Asia in three weeks time.
