TF Sport looking to make up for Road to Le Mans disappointment

Wednesday, July 13, 2016

Also competing at the Red Bull Ring this weekend will be the Michelin GT3 Le Mans Cup series competing for what will be their third round of a six round series.

Surrey based TF Sport return with just a single V12 Vantage GT3 entry for Salih Yoluc and Euan Hankey at this round having fielded a second car for Andrew Jarman and Devon Modell at the 'Road to Le Mans' support event at the 24Hr at Le Mans last month.

Having won the opening round at Imola back in May the #34 car was also looking good for a podium finish at the Le Mans event but an unfortunate spin for Euan Hankey whilst battling for third in the final quarter of the race put pay to any fairytale finish.

They do however still hold a single point advantage over the FFFRacing Team by ACM McLaren 650s, the car with whom they were battling with up and until the spin. The third placed #57 AF Corse Ferrari 488 is a further 11points behind.

The team, we're sure will be hoping that their fortune in Europe shall continue into this weekend after their British GT victory at Spa Francorchamps with Jon Barnes and Mark Farmer last weekend.

Free Practice and qualifying will be held over Friday and Saturday morning with their two hour race starting at 17:00Hrs on Saturday.
